Yello.Backup

Yello.Backup is a game I made for the GMTK GameJam of 2023, and, in fact, my first completed game :) (enough about me you wanna know what the game is)

The game is a Platformer mainly, but with some brain fun mixed in. The main gimmick (to fit the jam theme, Roles Reversed), is that you can click and drag to swap properties with another object, thus inverting or manipulating what "role" the object has in the level, ie. swap a Glop and a Crate and the Crate will move and attack, whilst the Glop is safe and pushable.  Also, some objects have inert properties (Stones are heavy, Yello cannot kill SlamCans, ect.)

You play as a strange yellow ball with little wires attached as legs (Called Yello, you know, the thing from the thing) in an attempt to navigate a post-apocalyptical world hinted at through some of the guide stones (I recommend reading those fyi), and to achieve the goal of [SPOILER :) if u wanna know go beat it :) ].

Beware of lvl 11, it sucks, and I am sorry. Also the ground collision detection is slightly jank so try wiggling about until you stop playing your falling animation before jumping. Also there is an end. And use esc. to exit. And sorry no saving but only 15 lvls so it tis' nice still.
